@deth420: Was that a serious question? It's game where it's all about buying stuff with money. So if you want to impress your friends with your expensive car and whatever other junk, then you either have to grind a lot. Or you can cheat. And as this game is designed to milk you for money it's extremely grindy by nature. So why would people not look for ways to avoid the grind? Though I assume you've never actually touched any game like that if you didn't know that yet. Or you just really love to grind.

@oostu89oo: The team they put to work on Andromeda had zero experience with making a full game. From what I remember hearing they were only responsible for the MP mode of ME3. That hardly qualifies someone to develop a rpg of massive proportions like what they had planned for Andromeda. This was not one of the Bioware teams that were responsible for any of the other games you'd think of. And the actual main team was supposedly busy working on Anthem. No idea why EA chose to switch those 2 teams around, putting them in the wrong roles when the mp B team would have probably been a much better fit for the Destiny clone.

So it means it's gonna be a turd. Maybe similar to ME Andromeda. I wonder how EA suddenly came to the conclusion that it would be a good idea to put inexperienced developer teams to work on their biggest brands.

Yeah, not too surprised since those pictures look like they're from a kids cartoon show or some crappy indie game. Doesn't quite fit in with any other Bioware games either.

Yeah, that sounds like a load of crap. 80% of digital sales were from PC players, even without taking any refunds into account. Yeah, right.

Still, seems that releasing the game in a broken state in time for christmas was worth it for CDPR. Though we can't really know what difference in sales would have been if they had decided to release the game half a year or so later in a top state of quality. The reception would have been the exact opposite and that should have greatly contributed to game sales for many years to come. But they've made their choice and as usual for big companies it was all about cashing in right now.

@lonewolf1044: Comparing one turd to another, great. Both are just online fees that charge you for basically nothing. Then throw some "free games" in it to justify that they can charge you even more for it. If I could I would get rid of both of them. But If I want to be able to play anything online on either of the consoles, then I don't really have a choice, do I? A scam is a scam and comparing one to another is pointless. It's like saying "I don't usually enjoy getting fucked in the ass. But if someone has to do it then I'd prefer if it was MS."

@lonewolf1044: The reason for that reversal is the same for why Gamepass is such a supreme offer: MS is desperately trying to catch up with Sony and they're more than willing to lose out on a lot of potential profits. Sony sees no reason for any such behaviors, so they'll keep milking their customer base as much as they can. Same as MS would if they were on top now. And same as they always did with XBL since the very first Xbox.

@lonewolf1044: Of course you do because it's basically free and provides you with lots of games, and many of them even at launch if I'm not mistaken. Who wouldn't enjoy that? And that's why it's pointless to talk about the value of such a service that only exists because MS is trying to draw as many people as possible to it before they even consider making any money from it. You can't compare a PR stunt like this to any other service that actually exists to generate profits. PS Now shows you what such a service normally looks like. With mostly indie garbage available on there and older games. And you'll pretty much never find any complete editions on their either, even if that's the only version of a game that's still available for sale and only for a few bucks. And yet PS Now was even more expensive in the past than it is now. Sony only adjusted the price because it was not selling well for what it was offering and MS' "free games with Gamepass" offer probably played a part in it as well. But as Sony is still in the lead and in no danger of falling behind, they have no reason to sell their subscription service under value.

@supermariomelee: So how did it come to this? It could have hardly been due to limited resources or anything like that when you already have such a short game. And they were planning to sell it at full price from the start as well, right? Did they just think it would be a good idea to remove those parts from the game without adding anything else in their stead?

@notjm: So why are you lecturing others on your inability to read?
