@Printul_Noptii @Atheno I have played it, and it does use good ideas, which actually just proves that if you take good idea and apply it to the right game, it will work. Like geomod for Red Faction.

@Printul_Noptii @Atheno I don't think that is true, I have a large group of friends, including my self, that want things like mud in the new Thief game. If you apply ideas, to the crowd that would respect them and thirst for them, you will get a positive outcome. Simply saying, "no, no one wants these ideas" is probably how they never get invented. While it is true, that every idea can not be placed into every game, it is NOT true, that they do not have a place at all in this gaming generation.

Exactly what I think needs to have attention these days. Imagine a shooter where a missile can miss its target and take down a small house. Or when it starts to rain, the dirt turns to mud, making it harder to walk or to sneak up on targets in a stealth game. Where snow, or ice on the ground, can make a car handle bad unless you bought snow tires in a GTA game. The things games can become, by paying attention to things other than graphics, is remarkable.

I really liked Rage. I felt good shooting things. The story took a back seat, and yes, it ended way too soon, right when it was getting good. I just don't blame it as much as most other gamers. Maybe it is because I never thought it was going to be a huge free roaming game, or anything like that. Who knows, but I can't wait for Doom 4 regardless.

@predatorGS There was one. Have not tried it yet, but it was suppose to be cheap and add quite a bit.

Note to self: If going to work on extremely sensitive game in near future, make sure to do background check on all workers, and get valid input, before I create a scene that causes someone to leave, or worse, sue me.

I don't know if it is to hold back, and not insult console users, but they really should do a 1080P video, with pc on ultra. Just so they can do a professional job at it. It is nothing about how badly the PC can destroy a console's visuals, because honestly I play on my PS3 sometimes, and play on my PC sometimes. Visuals are actually not the reason why I decide to play on PC, it is mostly because the PC games can run better with less hiccups. Though if you are going to go through all the trouble, of syncing up the video, you should just go the rest of the 10 miles and go full graphics and 1080P

@emgesp To be fair, the settings were only on High, it can go all the way to Ultra.

If i was in command of a gaming system's online servers, id release what is known as Steady Games. I'm not sure about how popular Halo 2 is on PC, but I know a crap ton of people played it on Xbox still, until it was taken down. If fans really want to play it, why not make a new server that was small and cheaper to handle the load? Games that EA have shut down in the past, were still incredibly playable and some of them needed online to get trophies or achievements. These are the games that, for no other reason of being a complete package, should remain operational.

Halo 2 is from what I gather, still a crowd favorite. They could easily re-release it with slightly different coding for 9.99 on xbox live, for it to connect to the new servers, and wam, profit.

@Dasim64 Luckily, Steam has your back, because you can always download a game after you purchased it. The only games that don't work like that are MMO's that go under.
