Obviously it isn't God of War. Not mentioning that it is apparently an open world shooter with vehicle combat, it's too soon for a sequel, not just because Ascension, but because of the console life cicle. And they are perfectly aware that if a new God of War is released, it has to be an Atla's effort.
@Derugs I can see what you mean and I think you're somewhat right. I'm a former AC fanboy, and as ACIV is putting me off from that series, this however, reignited my love for an Ubisoft work.
Watching the first trailer (and now this one), I (got)get the same feeling I had when I watched AC for the first time being announced.
However for the "they can keep it" part, you couldn't be more wrong, because this looks stunningly beautiful and awesome.
Wow. Gamespot doesn't even care anymore about hiding that their staff is filled with fanboys... Depressing... Mc Shae, Van Ord and Walton are becoming more and more obnoxious fanboys, who really can't hide it through their fanboys closet-minds with each new article and review that they write.
Can't we consider Demon Souls and Dark Souls survival horror? I mean, they both can be horrifying cruel in all ways, and you spend most of both games trying through survive the horror in every corner, specially Demon Souls! :p
YOU DIED!
60K souls gone with the wind. Controller transforms into a one way boomerang!
Now on a serious note. That guy clearly doesn't know Amnesia, Condemned or Siren. Oh well, he's just advertising is product.
@snxx @Assemblent Sorry, I can't commemorate a copycat fellow gamer... It just saddens me. If there was no Silent hill, or as the comment above says, Hellraiser, I'd be astonished by it. Oh well, let's wait and see the gameplay.
I just hope it is a nice survival horror game because the genre is a bit stale once again. Dead Space almost saved it, but EA, as we all know, loves to f**k things up.
@Grenadeh I could go down to your level, but you're just not worth it because you just sound like a real tool. I'm not judging the game, that's something you failed to understand in your all-mighty gaming wisdom. I know my english isn't that good, but it's enough for a 5 year old understand that I'm not bashing what might come in form of gameplay.
Like I said, give me GAMEPLAY because this live action trailer (what I judged) reeks of Silent hill, and like DiscGuru101 said and reminded me, it sounds also ALOT like Hellraiser.
And tell me, where is the new idea in this live action trailer? I'd really love to see it.
