@charlieholmes: In most (if not all) cases, the playtime of a game has very little to do with the review score it receives. If that were the case, FO:4 would receive a 2 and Team Fortress 2 would receive a 9, which was released in 2007 and is still one of the most played games in Steam. In fact, every multiplayer game like Destiny and DOTA2 would receive huge scores that no single player game can hope to achieve.
Review scores are based on how enjoyable the game is, it's technological accomplishments and (sometimes) how it fares against other games in the same genre.
@locke90: Well, I did not mean Obsidian owned the IP, only that they (or the people in them) developed all of the games except FO3 (The second sentence seems a little too aggressive - sorry about that). All of the founding members of Obsidian Entertainment came from Interplay.
