I loved the first two Pikmin games, and I have to agree with Miyamoto that the "stress" dynamic of the first game did make it more challenging, and ultimately, better.

The developers of this game understand something that so few others don't: It's about the quality of the game play, and nothing else. I proudly paid for a copy at full price not 2 days before it went on a super sale on Steam, and I didn't regret the purchase at all because that was two more days I got to play this awesome game.

To the devs: Keep up the good work. We love it!

@GamerMani Thanks for clarifying that. That only further improves the argument though, as even the "PS3 exclusive title" L.A. Noire eventually made it to PC, and it ran great from the start.

@egger7577 Yes, I agree with you. Some people are saying that Rockstar said that the pics are from the PS3 (which I suppose is possible given that the pics are all 720p), but even if that's the case, the pics were definitely cleaned up for promotional purchases. Like you though, I do believe that the pics are actually from the PC version, but that's just me. I mean, if you watch the trailers, which are very likely from the PS3 version, then the jaggies start to come out in full force.

Of course, Rockstar then commented that the jaggies will be gone in the final version of the game, but there's NO way they can do that on current-gen consoles without a HUGE performance hit/frame-rate drop.

@franizarduy Consoles are lame and I don't want one. And I'm not whining, I'm stating facts. There's a difference.

Is it just me, or is Dan Houser the newest corporate-sponsored troll to come along and make ridiculous remarks (just like Ono-chin before him)?!

Seriously though, let's look at the facts:

1) GTA started on the PC.

2) Every major GTA has seen a PC release AND made a huge profit (even GTA IV, which had a horrendous launch with mountains of issues, resulting in tons of bad reviews of the PC version).

3) The only major Rockstar game to never make it to the PC was RDR, but as Rockstar has publicly stated, RDR was a nightmare to make for the PS3 alone, almost never coming to fruition multiple times, and resulting in spaghetti code that probably wasn't worth Rockstar's time and money to port to the PC (if they even could port it, that is).

4) L.A. Noire, which came out after RDR, made it to the PC fine.

4) If Rockstar announces a PC release (not even a release date, just the fact that there will be a release at all), they know it will hurt console sales, which is where they make the most money, so it makes sense for them to be mum about it for now.

5) There is the pirating issue (and although I don't completely buy into this, I'm sure Rockstar is considering this a major issue).

6) Dan Houser has yet to make any sort of statement regarding the pics of promotional goods that recently came out of Europe with a PC release clearly marked on them. (Do a Google News search for "GTA V PC" if you don't believe me.) The fact that he has yet to deny any of these clear-cut pics showing a PC release is reason enough for me to believe that there will definitely be a PC release.

So, yeah, Dan Houser is full of crap, and he knows it. I'd take everything he says with a grain of salt. I GUARANTEE there will be a PC release, and it will be the best version... period!

Square Enix is just downright laughable these days. Haven't played an FF since X, and I'm sure not gonna start now.

Can't wait to laugh at this piece of trash though.
