@firedrakez: I agree, Salvation wasnt perfect but man I enjoyed it and wished they did a part 2. The comics were amazing for it. It still followed the original timeline and TRIED something NEW. Gosh I hate hollywood how they keep sending protectors back in time its boring and stale as poop
@ClunkerSlim: Not true, movie and IP has potential. Problem is hollywood keep reusing same old cast and going back in time and neglecting to make it good. Future War setting movie, full out war dark and day battles, grim, death camps, skynet and machines being ruthless. People are interested in good movies regardless whats in the tittle, its just that hollywood keep dooming the franchise by not listening to the fans and public. Dark Fate spat in the history of the franchise simple as that
@DaNexTgEn: No doubt people will watch it on free to air and say wow Im shocked it was enjoyable. Yes action was good, story wise F no. It wrecked the timeline and purpose of the key original cast and this movie really was a retread of a movie that copied every other before it nothing special.
Tim Miller and James Cameron both suck and should not be part of the terminator franchise anymore. Why? Cameron pushed for that opening 5min scene to kill of John Connor and start this new timeline. Biggest gaf in movie history I feel everyone in the world if they read the script for page 1 wouldve said umm ok redo this please.
For Miller, his gaf was he claimed to be a huge terminator fan and bragged he will set it right. His biggest mistake, doing the same terminator movie again by going back in time which we are bored of. He said he felt the movie needed Legion to be stronger than Skynet and unbeatable and winning the war against humans and instead it was humans who went back in time and Legion sent someone in time to stop them to ensure its survival. Saying you have to beat Legion only before its created. Thats rubbish Im sorry. I prefer John willing mankind through rubble and starvation to will them to victory and for John to outsmart Skynet in battle because Skynet cant think like a human. Future war is what we need not back in time. Obviously each has more flaws they revealed that baffles terminator fans but these are the key points I feel so please keep both of them and the other 4 writers away from the franchise and dont doom it to death
Steam reviews seem to be surprisingly positive Im shocked. I may end up picking this game up Im very curious to see more public and critic feedback. Thought it would bomb but people do say while the graphics arent that good (no biggie its not all about graphics) the game is fun and story seems to be very decent with a neat twist at the end. Would love for this to be successful as I welcome terminator games. Be neat to pick your side and do a campaign as skynet even
T800 not t1000 gamespot needs to find a terminator fan to write about this or at least watched t1 and t2 a bunch of times. Come on now. Dont review this game also if you dont know the terminator lore
