If video games influenced sandy hook, then I also guess video games also influenced individuals like Tim McVeigh and Bin Laden to also committ acts of mass violence.
But lets be serious here, but even though I find the amount of violence in games and movies too be way over the top in no way are they responsible for sandy hook, let alone much of the violence that takes places on a daily basis. Violence itself is a condition of the heart and scapegoating video games, let alone blame the mentaly ill will not solve the problem. Nor will banning guns .e.g taking away an individual God-given right to bear arm.
Anyhow my advice for this senator, stop blaming video games because the daily violence being inflicted on muslims from pakistan to palestine(endorsed by people like this senator) by the american government via drones and a racist nation like israel is far worst than sandy hook.
I'll make this short, but its only the people that believe in the very flawed that people are equal e.g. marxism are the ones that believe in such things sexism. for record, I'm a libertarian.
There is a problem with all of those game you mentioned, they all used incredibly faked lighting hence why they looked so good. Crysis everything was practically in real-time.
I personally speaking, I see nothing with such a request. Afterall we'e human and being so you can't fight nature.
Ultimately with all the stupid talking sexism in games and things of that nature, its nice knowing that this is a industry that thrives on the feedback of consumers.
@Evilnator If the war is a mistake, then guess bombing innocent people, the same can be said the numerous war crimes that were committed. Overall its quite a shame that Obama didn't prosecute Bush and his lackies, though I believe if Ron Paul were in office he wouldn't have hesitated to do such a thing.
Glad Konami had the courage in cutting the ties with game because it was just another tool for the warmongers. Secondly,I don't know how anybody could call a war built and promoted with lies a mistake..
