@frosty988: The "real" reviewers are generally garbage for anything not super serious or niche, indie Oscar contenders. I will trust the people that review the same kind of movies that I think are fun.
There are two different Tolkien-based tabletop role-playing games currently put out by Cubicle 7, one using their unique rules system and one using the current D&D rules system. Their license allows them to use material from The Hobbit and the the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but none of the other books. Basically the same license as the movies had. They set the adventures for the games in the roughly 70-year time period that passes between the end of The Hobbit and the beginning of Fellowship of the Ring. Since that seems to be the extent that any of the licenses seem to cover, I would bet that any TV series set in Middle Earth would have the same limitations and may be set during the same time frame as the game. There is a lot that could be done in those 70 years that would not invalidate any of the plots from LotR.
@gamingdevil800: There is also a LEGO series called Droid Tales where C3PO retells the first six movies from his viewpoint. That may be the closest to what we will see for what you are looking for.
@gamingdevil800: Already a lot of LEGO Star Wars-based shows on TV. The Freemaker Adventures is a fun show, so it may eventually get the big screen treatment the way the Ninjago series has.
@DAOWAce: That is weird. My adblock works fine with this site. And I am glad it does. I do not have an adblock for the browser on my phone and the ads on this site lock up the phone browser all the time.
@kaminobenimizu: Take those two expansions and combine them with the already released Trump and Clinton expansion packs and it will be fun times for all!
"Although I only got to use Mario and the Luigi and Peach Rabbids, the game's stage demo made it look like there'll be other Mario characters and Rabbids to play with."
Yoshi and Rabbid Yoshi were already confirmed before you wrote this, so maybe an edit is needed?
Anyway, this game looks like a lot of fun and it now has me thinking about getting a Switch later this year, rather than waiting til the 2018 Fire Emblem game is released. I just hope more characters can be unlocked or downloaded and I also hope that the rumors of it being a short game are not true.
Now that those are all out of the way, where is my Legends collection, containing Megaman Legends 1 and 2 and Misadventures of Tronne Bonne? They are all available now as PS1 Classics on the PS3, so they should have no problem porting them into a PS4 collection like this.
