Honestly the only reason I renewed it was because of Gears, Because I still play that game online a great deal that and Halo 2 i still play a lot. I just said that it kind of sux to pay $50.00, never said i never liked xbox live

Actually all I said is I enjoy my 360 Greatly AT THE MOMENT, I said nothing about it being more fun and also AT THE MOMENT is key words. YEs I do enjoy my 360, I just think the PS3 is better overall and will come out on top at the end with the better games

$620.00 for my PS3 BUT so far ive spent on my 360.. Console $400.00, Play and charge kit $30.00 (which comes out of the box with PS3) 2 years worth of xbox live since owning the console, $100.00 (which is free for PS3) Wireless headset $60.00 (which I already had a bluetooth headset for my phone so i just use that for PS3) so far im at a grand total of $590.00 with my 360, sheesh only $40.00 short of the PS3's price with a HDD twice the size, built in wifi, and built in blu ray. Yikes

All you need is a few great maps to make a multiplayer game good. In some cases, one can do the trick (like in CS..)

You know somethin, I was always one of the ones that use to say that $50.00 for a year Xbox live subscription wasnt that bad because it was only once a year, but man time does go by fast and when that day does come where you have to pay $50.00 for xbox live again and sacrifice having to buy a game or accessory you really want, it really sinks in how much of a rip paying for xbox live is! I mean at the very least MS should atleast make playing online free, i could kinda see paying for the extra content such as demos, trailers and such but just to play online?! I mean sony really spoils you with free online gaming, grant it the games out now arent that great but I do have a blast playing motorstorm and resistance online and not having to worry about paying a fee.

Infact by this time next year, with PS3 having "home" and by that time having great games out with FREE ONLINE PLAY, I might just say to heck with Xbox live and just stick with PS3 for  my online gaming experience. I was actually wanting to buy another PS3 or 360 game today but couldnt due to the fact that I had to pay up $50.00 for another one year xbox live membership.

Thats right, 2008 will be the year the battle will properly take place. PS3 and Wii are relatively new consoles and they need this year for developers to understand them and learn to use them well. The reason 360 is getting more exclusives and better multiplatform titles is because the 360 has been out for well over a year, the developers know the 360's architecture pretty damn well, and its only fair for you to give PS3 the same oppertunity. Heck I'm not implying that we forget about the sales altogether but we don't rush to conclusion this early. 2008 will be the year the PS3 goes to the next level, I guarantee there will be a difference between PS3 and 360 graphics in PS3's favour.

Do you guys really expect that PS3 will sell 10's of millions and gain 100's of exclusives in its first year out :|

I'm betting that the sales difference between PS3 and 360 will be minimal by year end and 2008 is when PS3 PWNS 360.

AGREED 100% my friend, as you can see in my sig, I do own both consoles and while I do enjoy my 360 a lot, I must say that PS3 is looking better and better and will win this console race
