I was doing some thinking and I think it would be so awesome if for "Home" if sony would implement some kind of system instead of having to purchase furniture and stuff with money that you could purchase them with points you earn for completing different tasks in games. Kind of like how acheivement points in xbox live but at the same time totally different, like the more points you earn for certain game accomplishments would allow you to purchase a bigger "home" nicer furniture etc, that would really be the ultimate acheivement system, showing up your HUGE Virtual Penthouse by being really good at gaming and actually "earning" that huge virtual apartment and stuff. I know it wont happen because of the micro transactions and sony has to make a few bucks here and there (which is totally understandable) but still, would be awesome idea.

Almost like being a virtual "celebrity" on home, the better you are the more you are able to purchase.  Think about it, it would be like real life! How in real life if someone has a small size home, most of the time its because they dont have a high paying type job versus someone that has a high rise luxury penthouse has a very high paying job. Same can go for "Home" the more you play games and unlock acheivements, the more you will be able to afford a bigger "home", nice furniture, nice TVs etc!! Please sony adopt this idea! Infact this would benefit sony more financially as opposed to "microtransaction type sales" because if people see other gamers with these great "homes" because of games they played to earn these homes, then other gamers will want to buy more games just so they can get the best homes and home accesories etc which would mean a lot more software sales!

System wars is what i look forward to on weeknights. I work 2:30p.m-11:00 p.m, so ill come home, drink a beer, play some games and get on system wars. Its what i enjoy to do in my leisure time. Weekends is a different story, i spend weekends with my girlfriend

I will admit, I cried to the ending of MGS3. I still cry to that to this day everytime I see it! Man the way the whole thing ended on the REAL reason why the boss defected and the part where snake is visiting her grave and how eva is telling the true story of what really happened while snake starts crying at the boss grave, yea tears rolled down my cheek for sure. No other game i can think of really got you emotionally involved with the characters quite like MGS3 did, did a really good job of making you care about the characters. and I know some people will come in here making fun of me for crying over a game's story but to me good games can be like great movies. its called "suspending disbelief"

I mean that would really be like real life! Like in real life if you see someone with a really small house, that means that they dont have a good paying job versus someone with a huge house means they have a high paying job. Same concept with this, if you see a gamer in "home" with a huge crib and some pimped out stuff, you would know he was a great gamer whereas the person with just the little bachelor pad would be the casual gamer. PLEASE SONY DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS!! Man that would be so freaking awesome!

I would talk so much smack with that to. "Yeah that super cool couch in my house. yeah got that after beating mgs 4 on extreme. That underground pool in the back yeah got that by getting 10,000 kills in Ratchet(it better have an online multiplayer). Yeah i guess its for skilled players. but u know ur couch that u got beating killzone on easy is ok, i mean its not fantastic, but hey its good, in its own way". I would have fun with that. rub my pimped out place in everyones face, until i meat the guy with virtual house that lives up to that of bill gates. then ill shut my mouth.jg4xchamp

Yea I know dude! Man, sony should really think about this. I mean honestly, I think sony would benefit money wise more from this then just putting stuff on sale through microtransactions. I mean if people saw how pimped out and huge your home could be and all the cool extras you could "purchase" with acheivement points, it would actually make people buy the games more just to get the points to purchase all this virtual stuff.

Man that would own so bad. I mean what better way to really show off your acheivements then with a Huge Home, nice sleek furniture, big screen TVs etc, that is the ULTIMATE acheivement system!! Man I really wish they would do something like this, it would own so much!

remember when u started playing video games and minutes before finishing the game/killing a boss that was a pain in the ass

u were all nervous and exited ,and suddenly, u made it, and ur so happy u thing u pwn jesus etc.

no game to the date has managed this, and its the most awsome thing aside from gameplay.

my question is what game and why do u think will make u feel this again?

Yea man your right! I remember i felt this same feeling after beating the first Devil may cry game OMG Nightmare was the hardest boss ever!! And beating "The Boss" and "The End" in MGS3! I really think online multiplayer is taking away from that feeling. Dont get me wrong I love online play, but beating hard bosses just doesnt seem as exciting anymore
