Price is relative. What may be to expensive to you may not be to someone else. To call something garbage because your wallet can't handle it is ludacris. Have nothing to do with MS imitating Apple or vice versa. It's capitalism...if they think someone is willing to pay for it, their going to charge it. And for the record to all the Microsoft haters...If it hadn't been for Microsoft loaning money to Apple in the 90's, they wouldn't be here right now for you to talk all that smack!
I really don't see what the problem is with a lot of people posting on here. The gaming console has evolved. You can still play your games till your hearts content. If you don't want to watch tv on your Xbox or PS...DON'T! It's just that easy. Also remember...they aren't making their consoles just for YOU. Its a mass market they are catering too.
Just like cellphones...there are features you have that you don't like and therefore don't use but you aren't bashing Samsung about how they are taking all your money and treating you so badly!
It may be a way for EA to get some good publicity...but its a good idea too. And gives you a chance to get a lot games for practically nothing! Its a three way win...EA, charity and you!
A lot people on here complained when games cost $40, same people complained when they cost $60...then they complained when map packs came out. I swear if there was nothing to complain about your heads would explode...and yet these same people are still buying games. everything cost...nothing is free. Do I think games cost too much...yes. Knowing I can't buy every game that comes out I have to choose what I want now..get the rest I want on sale later. The world is not going to come to an end because they now charge you to change the color of your shiny play gun. It still shoots the same way. Who said you HAVE to get those skins?!
hate to see anyone get laidoff...been there and it isn't fun. Social gaming in its current form though wont last long. Unless you have a product that's a hit it's impossible to make money on something offered for free.
