I've never guarenteed consistency. And considering I don't remember typing that sentence, I can't really say it applies.

Excellent wrok, though some of the non-dialogue passages I didn't particularly like and thought could probably have been crafted to fit the tone a bit better.

Very awkward IMO, and doesn't say much that the dialogue doesn't to me.

Indeed, much like SOTC, the review is far too smart for its own good. Parts of it are overwritten and extremely serious when, in reality, there's really nothing that deserves such a serious treatment. It's like it's trying to be art for the sake of art, not because it has a story to tell or a purpose to express.

I was afraid that nobody would get it. Now I'm afraid that nobody will make the connection between the game and the review.

Wasn't it Flash that said he got inspiration for writing from porn?

Anyway, good piece. Nothing like a good girl fantasy to wake you up.

@Wazelda: Agreed. But I read it when I was like ten and I didn't understand it. Looking back, it was probably because it simply didn't make any sense to begin with.

I just finished the graphic novel Blankets and have moved on to the Sci Fi short story anthologies my library carries (the ones edited by Gardner Dozois). Really fantastic stuff.

On the topic of sex: I tend to agree with you that the MTV college lifestyle doesn't do it. Thankfully, I found like-minded friends and within our community, we prosper. It's about finding what makes you happy, both in and out of a relationship, both with and without sex. Usually with, but, well anyway.

On the topic of the essay: I haven't the slightest clue what the thesis statement was. Many things were said, but I didn't grasp a point. If you had asked mke what it was about, I would have said "things." There's a common topic on relationships and dating and sex, but honestly, pretty broad.

It was interesting, but...yeah.

Torchlight: I clicked recommend.

Unreal Tournament 3: hmm funnily enough you ended up speaking too much about feature changes than the game itself, especially when compared to your other epic UT reviews. Still good overall, though.

Persona: "the game would have been chucked out of more windows than when Metal Gear Solid fans learned the second game didn't feature Snake. (Oh, spoiler alert, sorry)" spoilers generally have to consist of accurate information. :P That's more like it though! Silly typos aside: "casted, aclimate" etc. great review! Enjoyed it. :)

I didn't play UT3 nearly as much as the other two. It's more of a downgrade anyway.

I fixed some of the Persona review, added a few new paragraphs, etc.
