Caption Contest Verision 2.7182818: The Return of Creative Insanity

Welcome to Caption Contest Verision 2.7182818: The Return of Creative Insanity and for those who get the 2.71..., yes I am taking a break from Calculus to post this message :P

So I originally had created the Caption Contest, so I am allowed to just copy and paste the original rules with slight modifications:

A big part of being a successful writer is adapting to the task at hand. You will not always be able to write in the same style, let alone for the same thing, so it is important to think outside of the box and tackle as many different writing challenges as possible. A caption can be comical, and/or it can informative, but it most definitely should be creative. So I invite you all to take part in this little game as not only will it earn you Prestige Points (Info below) as well as expand your writing creativity.

I will change the image regularly (info also below), so I invite you all to check this topic often. When I put up a new image, I will post the winner of the previous one, so stay tuned because anything can happen, anyone can win!

A new image will be put up every Monday, Thursday & Saturday at varying times (I will typically try to get it done earlier in the morning, but that might not always be possible).

In the past users were encouraged to submit multiple captions, but we are going to change that so that you may only submit one caption per image - so make sure it's good

For each submission (1 per image), you will be awarded 2 Prestige Points, and if your submission is deemed to be the best you will be awarded 1 bonus Prestige Point which means that you can earn up to 6 points a week, 24 points a month, 288 a year, 2880 a decade or even 28 800 a century without ever winning! That will certainly put you atop the leaderboard where ILoveFlash and Foolz will never catch you!

Lastly, I ask that all entries be placed in quotation marks so that it is clear what your entry is.

Now mates, don't be stupid (ie. hateful, racist, etc.), just have fun and be as creative as you can. Good luck to all!

Monthly Recaps

At the end of each month a monthly recap will be posted with a recap of the past month's caption winners, caption contest points earned over the course of the month, the top three captions of the month and the honourable mention.

The Top Three Captions are the three best captions from the past month. The person who writes the third best caption recieves 5 Prestige Points, the person who wrote the second best caption recieves 10 prestige points, and the person who the best caption recieves 15 prestige points.

The honourable mention goes to the best caption that did not win for its respective contest. Essentially, the winner of this caption easily could've been declare the winner, but was slightly overmatched. The person who wrote the caption that recieves the honourable mention of the month recieves 5 prestige points.
