Do the Half-Life games work on Vista?

I, personally, have been eagerly anticipating the release of Kermites Weapon Pack. It's going to release about 160 good knives, pistols, MGs, SMGs, SRs, shotguns, and ARs. Only the knives, pistols, shotguns, and MGs are finished though.

Hello, I'm currently searching for a few games to buy once I get an ASUS G71 from Best Buy.

Well, I'm pretty picky, but I'm looking for a co-op RPG like NeverWinter Nights 2. I'm going to grow old waiting for Monster Hunter Frontier. The more depth the better. Also the gameplay doesn't matter, it could be like Diablo or Oblivion, but I just want to be able to have an in-depth, customized character and and play online with friends on a game that's not an MMO.

And, although it's not too important, I'm looking for a turn based strategy game thats modern with hotseat capabilities. I remember playing Worms 4 Mayhem and Advance Wars a ton and wanting to play that PS3 Valkerie anime shooter thing.

Thanks in advance, I'm pretty sure they're aren't any games like these, but I want to know, since Steam doesn't have everything. I'm pretty sure I shouldn't make threads like this, so if I can't, sorry.

The singleplayer campaign is a bloody joke... You play as two mute characters who constantly gets ordered around without complaining ( Killzone 2 *cough* but at least Sev had a voice... ) The levels are repetitive with no depth or twists ( except a few deaths here and there, but who cares if someone dies? I never felt connection to any of the characters. ) All you do is shoot, dodge a grenade, die, retry, shoot. Now that wouldn't be too bad if the shooting was good. All the weapons are boring and ugly, the sound is unrealistic and tortures your ears everytime you fire. There's no variation whatsoever. Oh, and now the biggest reason why I couldn't enjoy the game: Respawning enemies. You have to suicude rush at the same time you're fighting or the evil japs/nazis will overrun you.

The multiplayer is exactly like CoD 4, but with boring weapons and annoying maps.

The weapons are awesome (if you like WW2), the campaign is action-packed and the sounds are sweet. You don't know what your talking about

I'm not a bloody IW fanboy. I just find CoD 4 far better than CoD 5. Feeling offended by my opinion?

Day of Defeat: Source. Basically WWII CS:S with classes instead of buying.

CS is good, you should get it or DoD with Garry's Mod if you plan on getting them. CoD5 was okay on Xbox, it got boring and I sold it, although I sometimes regret it.

Also, depends on how well CoD5 will run. By the way, which do you like more? Modern Day or WWII?
