During my days of WoW gaming, I've encountered more gamers between 30-40 years old than lolwatting kids. I guess it depends on the company you keep.GhoX
It's funny how many older people play WoW. I knew a a guy from sweden he is a 50 something year old doctor, he plays an undead rogue in one of the best guilds on the server lol.

That was a good video. Intelligent guy knows what he talking about and gets his point across, and he is right. You are never too old to play games, anyone ridiculing older gamers needs to remember that they are in our space. This is our past time not theirs, if the average age of a gamer was toward to lower end of teen hood do you really think we would have and of the maturer games that we have today such as Call of Duty? No. Bottom line is that you are never too old to play, as long as your priorities are kept in order that is.

I'm 23 btw beeing playing since the NES days. If someone gavesyou crap about playing video games just remind them that you were "pwning the nubs" while they were mastering the use of the big boy potty.

I was on screwattack the other day and they have a pic of the big daddy from Bioshock 2 in a collage thing. I remember thinking to myself "hey he looks familiar", then it clicked, at first Ithought that the site edited the image to make him look like an old school Bomberman, but apparently not. Check it out, isn't that Bomberman on steroids?

I have a US and an EU 360 at home and we run 240V power where I live. I stepdown converter does work, the one I use is a beast and it has lasted me for over 2 years. I have tried plugging in my EU power brick however the connection to the 360 is a little different and therefore doesnt quite fit into the console. On the up side I do know for a fact it can be done as it is the common practice over here to now provide US 360s with power brick from EU 360s that can handle 240V and can fit the US 360, I think the problem I have is that my US one is a launch console (yes I know and it is clinging on for dear life right now but still functioning) and my EU one is a much newer Elite.

I hope that helps a little.

The Hype: Ok so we have a nice hyped piece of hardware on the way that give us the ability to control games with body movement, oh wow how futuristic and cool that will be.

The Release: Only supported by a few mainstream games as gimmicky features notnecessary to the overall experience and a handful of shovelware mini games designed to show off the device whether the game is fun or not. Sales are below expectations.

The Aftermath: Price cuts and more shovelware surround the device. Stores still have plently of stock, few are buying.

The Death: Lackluster sales and little software support led to the demise of Project Natal. Microsoft should have spent these last few months and millions on making some real games. Rot in hell Project Natal!

Swap out Microsoft for Sony and Project Natal for whatever Sony's one is called and you have the Playstation version.

Because in all seriousness this is just history repeating itself and people not learning.

PS.

Depending on Microsofts determination to sell this, I give the whole cycle 10-12 months before they axe it.

[QUOTE="DigitalExile"]

I've never been a fan of comics, but Batman has always appealed to me, at least in the small doses I got, because it was realistic; so I'd like a realistic character. I see the cartoon, and Batman is flying around in space or on other planets with aliens and I'm just like... really? The writers are that desperate for ideas? All batman needs is a cool mobsta with an interesting character history/idea, good dialogue and something unique about him. Going intoa bit of a rant here, the Joker was cool because he was a well written character with good dialogue. Batman, Two-Face... the rest of the characters were boring as bat *** (pun not intended).

Dunno' what point I was trying to convey here.

More doesn't mean better? Down to earth characters and plot lines are easier to relate to? It is more chillin and unnerving to have a character that you could meet in a dark alley than one you would need to fly to space to bump into?
