How id this even possible?

After deciding on the Deathadder for my new mouse, I ordered it from Amazon. Worked fine the first day. But when I plugged it in the next day, it worked for about 10 minutes and then crashed my computer. Tried it again today and it did the same thing.

Do you think it's a problem with the mouse it's self, or the driver/firmware?

Watch youtube videos and play consistently, thats how to get good at any multiplayer game

realguitarhero5

No, no, no ten MILLION times no. The YouTube community is what ruined this game. Learn how to play the game right, not by abusing overpowered set ups and cheap tactics.

Can't really give tips on a game that's a broken as MW3. Can't really give gun tips because unless you have host, your gun skill doesn't matter much. I thought Gears 2 host advantage was bad... MW3 is the worst I've seen in this area.

What you can do is work on your perception. CoD on consoles has a ridiculously low FOV. Make sure you're checking corners, and watching as much of the map as you can. It's extremely easy to miss someone who's relatively close to you.

Jump shot or drop shot if necessary.

You don't have to ADS for every kill. One of the biggest mistakes I see people make is trying to ADS when they should have hip fired or vice versa.

If it's anything like the 360 version, I highly recommend saving your money.

A few options.

-Some can use an optical cable for audio. You'll need the Slim 360 or a seperate adapter for that. (Adapter is around 5$ on amazon)

-If your TV has Audio Out ports, and the Headset has standard red/white connectors, connect them through that and it will work.

-If the headset has the standard red/white connectors and your TV has a headphone jack you can buy the red/white to 3.5mm adapter.

-If your TV has neither, you can buy an adapter that lets you connect the white/red to the Xbox it's self. Just like if you were using standard component cables instead of HDMI. For this you need to make sure it's the right size or you can;t fit it in the Xbox while you have an HDMi cable. The newer Tritton headsets come with these adapters but again, they are around 5$ on Amazon. Slightly more if you can find them in store.

These are the only ways I know of.

Edit: I have the Tritton Detonator right now. It's a solid headset, but not spectacular. It's comfortable and has a few nice control options. I believe the lower end Turtle Beach will provide similar sound quality for less money. If you want a high end one, you can't go wrong with the PX5, XP500, Tritton AXPro, Astro A40, or any other of those 5.1-7.1 high end headsets.

Well I ended up going and trying a few out tonight. Of the ones I got to try the DeathAdder seemed most like what I am looking for. I'm still going to look around for a little bit more, but it's very likely I will get that one. Thanks for your input, everyone. :D

everyone got all kind of suggestions, maybe if you would tell us what do you like in a mouse optical, laser, ergonomic, lost of buttons etc.

And my suggestion is Mionix Naos 3200.

Silicel1

Well..I kind of did. I prefer a simplistic mouse that I am not forced to hold entirely in my palm.(I use "Claw Grip" apparently) A few extra buttons is nice, but something like an MMO mouse might be a bit much. As for ergonomics as long as I can use it for a few hours at a time without my hand cramping up, it doesn't matter much. Seonsor doesn't matter much either. As long as it's smooth and accurate.

Sorry for being so vague.Like I said, I've never been a heavy PC gamer. So I'm not exactly sure what's best.

Just a tip: If you know any stores that sell these mice (retail of course)... Go to the store and try them out. This way, you'll get to handle them and know which is more comfortable for you. I personally use a Razer Deathadder and I love it. Although if it was to ever break or anything, I'm thinking of trying the Steelseries Sensei (or RAW Rubberized)(basically the same as the DiabloIII mouse but without the aesthetics).trastamad03

The DeathAdder has gotten great feedback from everyone I have asked about it. It's also an extremely nice looking mouse. I'm heading up to BestBuy tomorrow afternoon. I think they have a mouse display, so hopefully that is one of the mice you can try. As long as it's not too big, it's probably going to be the one I get. Though it will be hard to pass up on that Diablo III mouse.

@PredatorRules I do plan on playing Guild Wars 2 when it comes out, and maybe giving WoW another go, but I don't think I would like a mouse with as many buttons as the Naga has. Maybe the Naga Hex since it has half the amount, but I'm not sure. Probably one of those things that would just take some getting used to.

I've been using an older Logitech Marathon mouse for the past year and a half. Mostly just for every day use with some light gaming. It recently started becoming unresponsive, and with Diablo III approaching I think it's time to replace it. The mouse worked well for every day use, but I plan on playing Diablo III pretty heavily so I would like to go with an actual gaming mouse.

I'd like to move away from Logitech and have been looking at Razer or SteelSeries. I'd like to keep it under $80. I also don't really care for MMO gaming mice or anything with more than 2-5 extra buttons. Simplicity is key.

The Razer Deathadder was my first choice. It's reasonably priced, and has gotten a lot of solid feedback. Only problem with that one is that it's a bit large, and I have small hands. Seems like it will be harder to use for me unless I used a full palm grip, which I don't like.

My second choice is the SteelSeries Diablo III mouse. It looks fantastic and is reasonably priced on Amazon right now at around $60. The only problem I see with that one is the negative feedback. Not about design, but about durability. Apparently a lot of people have had them break after short usage.

I play some shooters, mostly CSS and CoD, but the majority of time spent using the mouse will be on Diablo 3. Does anyone have any suggestions, or input on the two I am currently looking at?

I stopped playign about a month ago. Shortly after the B2K DLC came out. The stock maps were more populated at that point than the DLC maps. You shouldn't have any problems finding a full match on the stock maps.

People enjoy different things. Asking a bunch of random strangers if a game is fun is kind of silly.

Skyrim is a fantastic RPG with a ridiculous amount of content. That being said, most of that content is pretty shallow. Most quests have very little to no effect on your play through. Choices have absolutely no consequences. Combat is pretty cut and dry,Not much to it but spamming your right and left triggers. The main quest is pretty short, and doesn't quite stack up to other recent RPGs.

BUT

The thing that makes Skyrim great is the large world with nearly endless amounts of quests, locations, and items to find. I have around 140 hours over 4 different characters, and still play the game daily. Only one of those characters have been progressed passed the first mission in the main quest, and I'm not bored of it yet.

The ratings it was given were a bit exaggerated. I'd say the game is a 9/10 max right now. If you like massive games with lots of fredom to play however you want, Skyrim is probably the game for you. But if you want a game that's full of fantastic story telling, dialogue, meaningful quests and very few bugs... It's probably not for you.
