I personally like pre-order bonuses. I'm pre-ordering the game anyways, why not get extras for doing it? The digital content included is rarely something to throw a fuss about. An extra weapon, an extra character. Things that don't really matter to the overall game. I absolutely love my Assassins Creed steel-book cases. But I was completely surprised when they handed it to me when I pre-ordered the game. It's something that should have been announced later on, a month or so before release, and given to you when you pick up the game. But I'm not going to complain. In short, I don't think pre-order bonuses are a big deal. Especially for a game in a series as beloved as Assassins Creed. People are going to be getting the game anyways, why not give them a little extra for pre-ordering?
The game it's self was fantastic. The ending was poorly written and not very well thought out. The entire game was depressing. Which fits the theme, of course, since War is supposed to be depressing. Especially a galactic war where the extinction of almost all life is at risk. But with everything that happened they could have given you certain options that would have made the ending more...acceptable. Overall a great game. Around a 9/10. Fix that ending and it may be higher.
All I know for sure is that I will end up with all 3 at one point. But I'm almost certain that I will go with the new Xbox first. I have enjoyed my Xbox 360 more than the other 2 home consoles this generation.
