iannavarre but you have to think, Nintendo is marketing this console as something that you want play with friends. everything from the Mii to Wii Sports, none of those things look like a lot of fun alone. i mean, in early ads for the Wii, werent the 'i''s like 2 people playing some kinda sport? i think Nintendo should have coupled their system with 2 remotes and charged 300$ for the take home package. and imagine, you have to pay for 40 (or 60) extra to play with your friends (which could tally upto 180$) and more money for a "classic" remote control, which could cost you over 200$ ultimately... if nintendo is going to package a "multi-player" game, they should have given you "multi-player" remotes. stop being greedy nintendo, Reggie's already told Reuters that because of the low cost of producing the Wii, Nintendo will start making a profit right out the box. they should have put in 2 remotes
actually, Wii Boxing, you need both the Wiimote and Nanchucku, 60$ is too much for a new controller. and add in extra money to get a "classic" remote, which isnt even wireless. i agree with the staff that eventhough the Wii is going to be alot of fun, i have to see how this controller config will work in the long run. there are days when i might not WANT to stand up and play my games, ill just want to loaf around, what's my option? surf the net? or pony up extra cash to play the virtual console games? they should let you play some games (like Zelda) with the "classic" remote too... if games can interchange and let me decide whether or not i want to use the wii-mote or the classic controller, im sold on Nintendo.
