To me, it's one of the best from the series and exactly what I wanted and more. Who cares about battle mode anyway. Amazing game deserve an amazing review score, to me, it's easily 9.5 out of 10!
Not at all surprised about the review of this game. Nonetheless, I've preordered the game and I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Reviews for this game are all over the place (40% to 90%). I'll agree that they're some factors about the game that, for most people, are annoying (especially music and sound effects). But pretty sure they're some other factors about this game that will be enjoyable. Will see tomorrow...
WOW, Mark Walton: loves a good platformer... You have got to be kidding me! It's these kind of reviews, that are off mark from most other reviews, that discourages me from visiting this site (used to love this site and visit daily, now only to see game reviews). Gamespot gave the lowest review for this game.
Well Mark, guess you got your ass kicked playing this game and didn't like it (as you should've expected it to be tough, since you're a platformer guy) or maybe it's something else... Anyway, visited Gamespot just to see the game review and will now switch to other more competent and impartial sites in my opinion. Sorry gamespot, but to me, this unfortunately makes you lose credibility.
Well, I just played a bunch of "dull" Murphy stages yesterday and this morning and I wasn't disappointed at all. So far, in my opinion, this games deserves at least a 9 out of 10 on Wii U. Really addictive and lots of variety in all stages. Definitely worth buying/playing.
Don't just take my word or Tom's, Gamerankings always does an average in reviews for games and Wii U version is at 92.5%.
Will make my own rating once I get this game on Wii U. I'm sure it will be awesome, like other sites are reviewing. The challenge app was awesome on Wii U, even the Murphy stages.
And negative comments, please leave them aside, since the game's available on every console.
It's a sale that doesn't show up very often and when the sale's done, some have regrets not buying it. Time to buy, unless of course you don't like Nintendo and/or prefer spending more than twice the amount on Xbox One.
Learned my lesson, never buy a console at launch (remember PS fans spending 800$ for a PS3, ouch!!!)
Actual price shown is 202.75$ and it's actually on sale right now (sale starts July 31st), that's what I got in my flyer today. They definitely will sell, and if they don't have anymore in Wal-Mart, go to another store that matches prices, almost all of them do (especially Best Buy and Futureshop, they give10% off from the difference, which should be 10$) . Need more gigs, buy an external hard drive and plug it in.
