We already know that Metroid: Other M, Zelda Wii, Pikmin 3 and a new Kirby Wii game are on Nintendo's release schedule, but what else will be released?

I don't think it even needs stating anymore the numerous ways the Wii is inferior to the other three systems. As i said before, it just is. There seems to be no debate about this, no discourse, in gaming terms all the wii does best is sell. Dude if it wasnt for my MOM and DAD to buy an atari and play video games then I would never have even started as early as I did. So your little softcore bs is doing nothing for your argument. Every system out right now has a load of crap for games on it and there is no way you can just single out one system over the other for that. Everyone has a DVD player/PS2 for the most part these days and they can use those to watch movies. HD is just now catching on and by the time Nintendo starts losing popularity and profits they will be releasing a new console that is unlike anything anyone has ever seen.

Strong hardware gets you multiplats. Which makes gamers happy. Which makes your console better. I'll take that over a unique control scheme coupled with weak hardware any day. :)TheGrat1

Why can't you gamers just understand that? Yes graphics is very very important to a game but so is design and programming. You could have one of the most graphically advanced video game ever or system created but yet, It still will not really be that big of a deal to the general world population. Plus it will eventually be overthrown by something even better which is very predictable and long time gamers should know this by now. We need innovation and the technologies needed to really immerse someone into a virtual world is closer than you might think.

The Wii as you know is the best video game console in existence and currently no other console has been SOLD OUT at thousands of retail stores as quickly with the prolonged productivly as the Wii has. It would take a miracle for ANY new system and product to match the Wii's success. You can **** and moan about the graphical capabilities and family and unique oriented games but that's what sells. Nintendo was VERY smart to actually listen to lifetime gamers *as myself*who have strived for Nintendo to dominate the gaming industry again.
