wow, really? we're still on this? if the developers are so willing to change what they've done, then obviously the decision wasn't exactly a big deal in the first place. if a developer feels it's so relevant to their "artistic vision", they'll keep it. fine. if they respond to criticism and actually fix something, that's fine too. can we move on now?
the reason these companies don't appear, I'd assume, is because of how big E3 is. their games are in danger of being swallowed up in the hype or, in the case of Irrational, in spitting distance of overexposure. how does that make the conference less relevant? hell, if anything that makes E3 more relevant if it's SO huge that people don't want to risk being lost in the crowd
