$600.......I said it once and I will say it for the millionth time...........If they were selling the damn thing for $400 no one would be complaining. The problem is its too expensive for the casuals to commit (given the obvious better options) and the Core KNOWS what it is buying and the PS3 simply isn't worth even owning if you already have a 360 and or a Wii cause you won't have time for the 2 games you might be able to get this year that are interesting. But I will say it again......$600. At $400 I eat my words and we all sit around an wait for the games. Sony F'ed up in going after the Blu-Ray Market and years from now Blu-Ray will be seen as the down fall of the Playstation Brand because M$ won't rest on the 360- they got a bunch of people designing the next system right now and they have another bunch talking to the dev's about attach rates and install base projections. M$ smells blood now. They know they have the PS brand on the ropes. Expect a 360 Price Drop soon and by the next generation M$ will come in for the kill. $600 bucks - STUPID!

PS3 is in biggy trouble people. The first 4 million will sell like hotcakes just as the PSP sold like crazy at launch but the next 6 million will sell so slow that Sony will have to drop the price fast. So I am betting that by Xmas 2007 we will have a $400 PS3 and by then the console will actually have a decent bunch of games. But at the current price and that super weak launch line up its WII60 for me. And look out - All Sony has to give up is a third of their market share and the developers will drop off like flies hitting the zapper. Nintendo can easily kill them in JAPAN and the 360 in Europe and the US. At that point Sony is in BIG trouble.
