Great for fans of the original, come armed with patience!

User Rating: 8.5 | Phantasy Star Collection GBA
PS1: The game is pretty loyal to the original version and although it's a very old game, dating to the Sega Master systems, it's still a fun game and interesting with the first person view in the dungeons.

PS2: The dungeons are not really fun and very confusing, in the original version, you got the handbook with the game, just to let you know that the game was hard. The fights are a little boring and not user-friendly, and the names of the techniques are complicated and doesn't help to grasp what they are for. It's still a classical game and the large casts makes it interesting.

PS3: I really liked the concept of the generations and finished the game a couple of times to try new characters, but I must admit that the color palettes and graphics are kind of depressing a little.

Overall though, I can't but appreciate to be able to play thes classics again, but beware to be armed with patience and a walkthrough if you want to complete this classic saga. It was just a little disapointing that PS4 isn't in this compilation.
