One of those simple but "classic" game concepts

Patapon.. read a couple of articles on this game and was taken by how perfect a game it would be for my wife. She's into PSP games and after the great disappointment of Sims's castaway (she loved it but it kept locking up) I figured it would be good candidate.

Ordered it from Amazon.. Came next day. although since we where in the middle of moving and had mislead small things like PSP's we left it for a bit. finally with a gap in the schedule my wife had a first go.

Ramp up wasn't hard but it was different, you control a number of Patapon troupes by giving them orders by beating a your god like drum. So you can single them to move forwards or attack. Later on you get new orders (defend, repeat and the every hard Miracle".

Game works in a series of battles and missions, intersected by playing mini-games which can provide resources to outfit and give life to new troupe types.

Difficulty level is no walkover and is a suitable challenge to your average gamer.

If you have a PSP and are missing a game that is easy to pick up and hard to put down which a nice long playing time this is for you.
