This is one of those games that at first glance is just plain silly, but then as you play more, you get sucked in by the charming little Patapon people, and the degree of strategy actually involved to be "good" at the game. I often can tell if a game is any good by how much my girlfriend watches me play, and moreover, if it entreats her to play. Patapon 2 wins on both accounts, as the characters are just simply "cute", and the chant/cheers/exclamations of the group are annoyingly catchy. My girlfriend even has her own game profile. The controls are as simple as can be. The difficulty is dependent upon what level you play on and what side games you're into (some of them are a little droll), but I think almost anyone should be able to find a level that is suited to their personal gaming level. The music is fitting to the thematic of the game, and, again, is catchy when you throw in the call-and-response of the Patapons.
