War SIM that lives up to it. Getting a lot of hate for no reason, very enjoyable, hard, and realistic game.

Well since this games getting so much heat from players, I'll do a Pros and Cons review, along with personal inputs on why the game even might get some bad reviews, there are several draw backs though to be noted.

Pros: Ultra Realistic in the cat and mouse aspect of war (Pick your fights carefully - you've got to stop and look for enemies sometimes), Enjoy Hardcore mode (lets the game shine), Looks great (In my opinion 30FPS works fine for me, it slugs sometimes, but not often.), Voice acting is pretty decent (Something I though was going to be a lot worse.), Large selection of weapons and vehicles, amazing war effects (when you hit the ground to go prone, dirt splashes on your face making it harder to see. Same with standing to close to a squad-member that gets hit.), and lastly that I can think of off the top of my head, THE SOUND QUALITY IS INSANE.

Cons: Friendly AI (I've been shot by these stupid slow guys. I was standing 3 feet in front of them!) They take orders bad and sometimes have trouble finding cover. AI engagement is also annoying, sometimes they have no line of sight what so ever (your squad or the enemies) and they will open fire. You'll still be trying to figure out and sometimes can't even see the flashpoint because these suckers are AI and they also see you since the bushes don't seem to have any type of collision programming for interrupting their line of sight. Lastly is the minor but bogus bugs. There are all types, for example one I can repeat on demand is trying to heal another team mate as a medic, once it starts to heal, stop healing and try again RIGHT away, once you heal your team mate you'll be stuck to heal something again - can't move. Like wise for being prone, reloading and checking your map at the same time, once you come back you'll be stuck again till you fire, and reload (this got me killed!)

Over all its a great game, very realistic and fun but that is some peoples problems. One guy said (Co-op play) "This guys cardio sucks. He only runs for a bit" ... the characters sprint for distances of almost 300-500m without slowing, with all their gear on their backs. If anything the cardio might need to be downed a bit. Same guy later cried when he got shot and died (he likes CoD and sticking his head out) "This sucks I didn't even see where it came from!? This games not fun on Hardcore!" mean while my other friend and I are enjoying the hell outa our engagement... we got ambushed!

People approach this game with the wrong mindset. Yes, you've got to sneak to your objective, NO you can't engage everyone and just walk away unscratched. Pick your fights, its realistic - dig in first if able.

Operation Flashpoint, Welcome back. I missed you. NOW GET TO WORK ON YOUR AI AND BUGS PLEASE.
