This was the first EA game I had played in a few years and they have definitely improved on the graphics and gameplay, but there were still some things lacking or missing I felt. I would have liked a little more control over conference changes or at least being able to go independent so you can craft whatever schedule you want with the team. Also, when players get injured early in the season and are lost for the full season, you should be able to get a medical redshirt, but that option was not available. There was no way to improve your stadium or facilities so even if you won the national championship 10 years in a row, you could be sitting in front of a 95% full stadium that holds only 30,000 people. Get serious. After that amount of time, you should be able to upgrade the stadium. Also, I would have liked being able to establish stronger and stronger relationships with the high school and juco coaches so that you might have an "in" for players coming from certain schools. It could have also allowed greyshirting and maybe a little more control over spring workouts so that you might be able to have your players improve even more. That might also be something that would be helped by better facilities, etc. Also, I would have liked to have a few things like being able to have excessive celebration penalties. I could have my players coordinate some sort of demonstration after a score, but get hit with a penalty. Oh well, a good game though, but with lots of room for improvement.
