MVP Baseball is the perfect game to add to any baseball lover's collection. It was released on March 9, 2004 and from the start it was considered a great game. I own the game on Nintendo Gamecube. You can build up the perfect team by trading some useless players for one or two great ones from another team. I have built up a fantastic Chicago Cubs team, but it takes A LOT of work to do so. You can sim your way up to a certain game during the season if you don't want to waste time playing the games. After three seasons with one team, you will be allowed to manage any team that you want. The controls are quite simple. You can work up a perfect swing and pulverize any ball that comes within an inch of the plate and get the scoreboard full of runs for your team. Pitching requires a lot of work and concentration if you want to deliver a perfect strike. Fielding is quite simple. Once your player has the ball, you press the corresponding button to throw the ball to the base that the player is running at. The commentary from the announcers gets annoying pretty quick so you can just turn it off if you want to. All in all, if you like baseball, you should definitely pick up a copy of MVP Baseball 2004 and start swingin'!
