A big improvment over past EA baseball games.

I haven't played a really good baseball game in a long time. Most of them always turned out to be unrealistic homerun fests. When I play a sports game, I look for how it accurately emulates the actual sport. MVP Baseball 2004 does that very well. The graphics are pretty good for an Xbox game. It didn't blow me away, but I can't complain. The sound is pretty standard. I realy liked the choice of music, and the announcers weren't too annoying for once. As far as gameplay goes....it's solid. I like the new pitching meter and if you don't play it on the easiest setting it doesn't turn into a slugfest. The fielding has been improved. I love the franchise mode, as well. The rosters were a little out of date, even though I bought the game the day it came out. That was disappointing. Overall, I thought it was a fun game to play. Definately a step up from previous efforts. It's worth the money
