The best turn-based strategy game of all time.

User Rating: 9.5 | Metal Gear Acid PSP
First off, yes, this is technically a card game. Now don't instantly close this review just because of that much-hated gaming phrase. This game is actually one of the best strategy game's I have ever been so lucky to play in my entire life. Yup. An intense storyline, suspenseful moments(when you get caught or nearing death), and pretty detailed graphics make this game an excellent package.

Now I honestly am not a MGS fan but now I am(although this is technically not MGS). Starting from the first mission(not the tutorial) the game is already exciting and addicting. This may sound funny, but stealth is actually important in this card game. Getting caught basically screws you unless you load your deck with a billion grenades and bazookas(which is not so smart). The game forces you to think out every move and consider each card you use to build up your ultimate deck. Collecting cards is quite fun and testing them out is not so tedious as you might think. You can choose many different types of decks ranging from sniping decks to explosive/suicide decks. Depending on your tastes, you might have a very interesting deck by the game is over.

Wait a second, did I just said over? This game has a HUGE replay value, partly in thanks to the deck building feature. When you beat the final boss, you get the option of doing the entire game all over again(still keeping you hard earned cards) and selecting an extreme difficulty. since I loved this game so much and decided to take on the challenge,I did. I kinda regret it. It suddenly became the hardest game I ever played in my whole life. (Playing SSBB one handed is easier). Enemies had godly health, equips, eyesight, and hearing. And when I say godly, I mean it! I had to empty about 100 bullets into a guy to kill him. But still, it's pretty fun because stealth is stressed much, much more.

Overall, this game is a solid and addicting strategy game that will please any PSP owner.
