Want a portable remake of Mega Man X, but with more features? Then Mega Man Maverick Hunter X has got it all. As you can tell from the screenshots and the storyline, MHX is a remake of Mega Man X for the Super Nintendo. The power-ups, the bosses, the stages... It's all remake. But with three replaced Sigma stages to appeal to more fans. The graphics in this game are incredible, and the best graphics I've ever seen since Super Smash Bros. Melee. And the sound? It's remaked, and it's rock 'n roll. Not only you can play as X, but you can also play as Vile. Playing as Vile adds more challenge to the game, so that's why you have to play as X first to get Vile as a playable character. But when playing as Vile, you hear the same stage music, which is kinda annoying at times. You can also watch an unlockable movie called The Day of Sigma. The movie is anime, and it is a distant prequel to Mega Man X. It also includes a playable demo of Mega Man Powered Up, which is mostly played by those who don't own Powered Up, since PU is released. All in all, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X is a successful remake, and is a must-own for action/platformer fans, as well as Mega Man fans. Even newbies to Mega Man can enjoy it as well, as it is a very rewarding addition to your PSP collection.
