The game play is an iffy, some of the controls sometimes seem either too sensitive, or not enough sensitive. The control was also weird-ish. the control is definatly better in double dash.
The graphics were slightly dissapointing, the character sprites were um, not 'well done'. it feels like some of the models and details were outstanding, and others were very plain and simple.
The sound is always great in nintendo games. The classical and mario mix or original songs and new innovative songs makes you want to race will the end.
The overall value is high, the singleplayer will keep you playing for a month, tops. but if you dont have lots of friends, its not as fun. 4 player battles are awsome.
Over all, if you have a 64, you should pick this one up, if u have a gamecube, pick up double dash (its better in almost every way)
