It's dated, but fun!
Now, I'll admit this new imagining of Majesty isn't quite as good as the original, for all that they updated the graphics considerably and added a few new features to the interface. There's just something lacking; maybe I'm missing my favorite troops in the game, the Fervan Cultists, I don't know.
Maybe I'm easy to please, but the repetition in the game thus far hasn't bothered me, although if I can already see all the missions I'll be able to play, I can't see the game holding my attention for too long, either. Hopefully there'll be some downloadable content or an expansion soon.
At any rate, I would recommend the game to anyone who is as irritated by the ultra-micromanaging of many RTS these days and just wants to be able to point and say "DO" and watch thy will be done. Mostly.
