Disney + Video Games = Letdown (usually). This time around? Blown away! The attention to detail is Disney worthy.
Granted, this game is definitely aimed at a younger audience, with the in park challenges being relatively simplistic. However, the "rides", or mini-games, still provide an enjoyable gameplay element, even for us grown-ups, and the ability to play multi-player expands on that even more. If you're an achievement junky, trying to get platinum on all the rides will definitely challenge you, and the amount of in-park collectibles and secrets create a vast amount of replay value.
For me, beyond the basic gameplay elements, this game simply feels more like a true Disney experience than anything I've ever played before. The level of detail, from modelling the park itself, to the music, to the parades and the fireworks; it all really creates that magical Disney feel that comes from visiting the park. And the best part... No refurbishments!
Even as an adult, I have thoroughly enjoyed this game thus far, and I hope to see sequels that spread to other Disney theme parks, including DisneyWorld or even California Adventure. If they continue with this attention to detail and solid Disney quality, kids of all ages will spend hours with these titles.
