If you dont mind an interactive anime, this game is for you, if you are looking for a good rpg, look elsewhere.
If you enjoy the old school rpgs such as baulders gate, the new rpgs are no more the interactive anime's. After 6hrs of nothing but story, I couldnt sit thru it any more. No freedom at all, just follow the linear story. ... Read Full Review

Now.................. Loading........................ Review................................
Rockman had all intentions of passing up Suikoden 5. I mean really, after what we got with 3 and 4 can you blame me? Fortunately I took a chance on this one and my faith in Suikoden has been restored. It's nice to see Ko... Read Full Review

Old and new, good and bad. Could have used some additional time in development before release to make it all good.
Good: 6 character squads are back, skill system lets you customize your characters somewhat Bad: Camera system leaves something to be desired, new look of the main character's, should have stuck with the old. You get... Read Full Review

Absolutely Stunning
I must say that I was rather hesitant to pick up the new installment of the Suikoden series because some of the previous PS2 versions have been subpar. I started playing the series with the original Suikoden on the PS... Read Full Review

After years of waiting Konami has finally released another Suikoden worthy of its name.
Since the original Suikodens (I & II) I have felt that the other suikoden games have been lacking. Suikoden V finally puts that feeling to rest. The battle system itself is simple. You can attack, use runes (magic), comb... Read Full Review

It feels good to play another good Suikoden game.
It's been awhile. After the mediocre 4th installment, and the slightly above average tactics game, we finally stumble upon a great Suikoden title....ahh, how good it feels. First off, let's get through the bad parts o... Read Full Review

If Konami was purposly trying to keep suikoden unknown they did a good job of doing so.
I have one huge huge HUGE complaint the camera, its so horrible it completely takes you out of the game, makes it feel unreal and seems to effect the story because of this. I wish they would have kept the previous camera... Read Full Review

I am bias and will never give a bad review for a SUIKODEN game
I have been a fan since the beginning and the 108 charcters is all I need to keep going. The graphics are what we have seen before and the gameplay similar. This RPG will always be good as long as it stays the course un... Read Full Review

Is this the game i was waiting for? Part 4 was so a disappointment, the navigation system was unforgivable.
This game should have took the place of part 4, but Konami thought to give sucked trash to make 5 to like a work of art. I haven't even played the game yet, but still what i seen of this game is 100 time better then what... Read Full Review

Great for people who enjoy story lines and well done characters.
This is a game I could sit and watch for hours because the graphics are pretty, the characters are interesting, and the environments are fun. The game play is fun also, but you spend a lot of time with the story. Some pe... Read Full Review
