A Sublime RTS in Space
Sins of a Solar Empire is similar to many games, but identical to none (which is something you can't say of many RTS's). The basic premise is that it is a 4X (Explore, Expand, Exploit and Exterminate) strategy game - ... Read Full Review

Sins of a Solar Empire has something for both real-time and turn-based strategy gamers. And that's an amazing feat.
Sins of a Solar Empire is a 4X strategy game from Stardock. Unlike the series Stardock is best known for (That being the Galactic Civilizations series), Sins of a Solar Empire is an intriguing blend of turn-based scale a... Read Full Review

Overall a good successor to the MOO/GC/HW series - but like all stardock games, lacking in polish and finish.
I was *really* looking forward to this game, having absolutely loved Homeworld I and II, and even more so MOO, and to a lesser extent Galactic Civ by Stardock... For such a highly anticipated game, i have to say i was... Read Full Review

An awesome game with its lack of a single player campaign being the only main disapointment.
I've never played any 4X game and probably never will, but this beauty of a game is an exception. SoaSE is a magnificent blend of a 4X and RTS game. The speed of gameplay is slow, but you'll get used to this kind of ... Read Full Review

What I would've expected from an epic RTS game.
However, there are some flaws to the game. For instance, there is a lack of a single player campaign which is nessecary for a broad game like this. The tutorial which does a relatively lackluster performance in immersing... Read Full Review
