Worth the Purchase, very underrated!
I did not purchase this game because of all the mixed reviews and the hefty 60 dollar price tag. Downpour's price recently dropped to 29 dollars so I purchased it and downloaded it. The plot is very good in the game, the... Read Full Review

Silent Hill: Downpour is quite fun, bugs and all.
I have always been a massive fan of Silent Hill. I grew up with 2 and 3, drudged through 4, played Homecoming multiple times, and attempted to hunt down a copy of 1. As you can imagine, I was excited for Downpour. Althou... Read Full Review

A return to form in the mysterious and creepy ghost town of Silent Hill
I'll make this quick and easy, since this is my first attempt at a review (I'll make more detailed reviews for newer games further down the line as I get the hang of this). Downpour is a fantastic and sadly underrated re... Read Full Review

After the disappointment that was SH: Homecoming, Silent Hill: Downpour takes a big leap in the right direction.
Let's face it; Silent Hill: Homecoming was decent, but not the true Silent Hill experience that we knew and loved, and feared at the same time. The Silent Hill games always knew just the way to truly frighten you, withou... Read Full Review

The Good: Otherworld areas are fun, fun end boss, free roaming area is a good idea The Bad: Broken frustrating combat, side quests are nigh impossible to solve, everything is too cryptic, dated horrid graphics, glitch... Read Full Review

Downpour is finally putting the series in the right direction, although it's still not the same quality just yet.
This isn't the first time that the Silent Hill franchise has been developed by a non-Japanese development team. Climax Studios and Double Helix Games have both had attempts with Origins, Homecoming and Shattered Memories... Read Full Review

Better than the last two Silent Hill titles.
This Silent hill installment was better than the last two. The atmosphere continues to be spooky and strange as with all other Silent Hill games. This time around the enemies are reaosnable to kill and you have enough to... Read Full Review

Silent Hill, once seen as the psychological king of the horror genre. But can this game bring the series back to form?
Lets be honest, for those of us that worship 'Team Silent' original Silent Hill games, it's fair to say the series has taken a 180 nose dive since Team Silent left the series. Countless developer changes, and attempts o... Read Full Review
