I'll be Damned…
I haven't really found an easy way of reviewing a game like this. I find it hard to start talking about Shadows of the Damned because of the way it is. That might seem like a vague reason for not being able to clearly de... Read Full Review

Bizarre and shocking but most of all fun. A curiousity, definately for the broad-minded.
Think devil may cry crossed with Bayonetta with a heavy helping childish sex references, knob and poo jokes. In other words.. Better, considering that I'm a fan of the frenetic beatemup genre and have already played ninj... Read Full Review

In the beginning i thought it was funny, but in the end it is boring.
Fisrt questions: 1. What is? A game for terror movie fans and resident evil fans 2. What is its main advantage? It is funny and can make you laught sometimes. 3. What about its drawbacks? Boss battles are extremely lo... Read Full Review

SotD is a flashy, irreverent action game from the minds behind Resident Evil, Killer7, and Silent Hill.
Shadows of the Damned was praised this past year for its all-around excellent sound design, and it definitely lives up to that at least. But what about the rest of the game? Can Shinji Mikami and the crazy Suda51 continu... Read Full Review

Once in awhile, you can find a hidden gem of a game, and this is it. Not a AAA release, but as solid and fun as one
I'm not sure where i heard about Shadows of the Damned, (most likely this site) but as soon as I saw who created the game and who did the music, I knew I wanted to give it a whirl. The premise is you're a demon-hunting b... Read Full Review

Maybe its cause I'm playing on hard, but every boss fight took at least 20 mins and I'm on my third one. And I just rage quit. Even on hard, any boss fight should not take AT LEAST 20 mins. Average. Could be WAYYYYY Bett... Read Full Review

Simply put it just isn't very good
I was quite looking forwards to this game, given its Gamespot review, generally favorable opinions by others, and the fact that i enjoyed similar games like Resident Evil and Dead Space. "Shadows of the Damned", tho... Read Full Review

I don't really see what's so special about it, it's an alright game, but nothing spectacular.
Shadows of the Damned, sales-wise tanked, but have received many positive reviews from critics, not least the Suda fanboys. I don't get it, I mean, the game is pretty good, but it's not a classic. I guess people praise i... Read Full Review

A hellish, genious trip by SUDA 51
Shadows of the Damned has got big "cojones". Suda 51, one of the greatest minds in videogaming of our time released mindblowing, weird, wrong but most time brilliant tittles over the years. This game is IMO one of his gr... Read Full Review
