Sega Touring Car Championship Cheats For Saturn

  1. Hidden Tracks

    Change the date within your Saturn to the following, enter Saturn Mode and select Global Net Event:

    December 25, 1997 - Winter Holiday
    February 13, 1998 - Hit and Run Mode (you need to hit every cone)
    March 31st, 1998 - April Foul (avoid oncoming cars)

    there is a second method (easier than changing date of the saturn's calendar ) (tested on japanese versions, works):
    - Go in "Saturn Side"
    - Enter the "option screen"
    - Enter XYZ XYZ YX on the gamepad (a motor sound will confirm that the code has worked)
    - Highlight the "Global Net Event" on the Saturn Side menu and to race :

    Winter Holiday => press X and Start
    Hit & Run mode => press Y and Start
    April Foul => press Z and Start

  2. Clear Pause Screen

    To get a Clear Pause Screen, just press X + Y + Z on the Pause Screen.

  3. Different coloured car

    Press UP or DOWN while highlighting the desired car.

  4. Various unlockables

    Do the following to actions to unlock various modes and tracks.

    Unlockable Unlockable
    Finish Urban Circuit in 1st place in Championship mode under Saturn side Boom Town Circuit track
    Finish Urban Circuit in 1st place in Championship mode under Saturn side Exhibition Race mode
    Finish Grand Prix mode in 1st place Expert Mode
    Finish the Exhibition Race in 1st place Race against SEGA A.I. car in Vs Mode
    Finish 1st place in Championship mode on either game side Urban Circuit track

  6. Cheat Mode

    For this you need the official 'Arcade Racer' racing wheel plugged into port 2. Select either 'Saturn' or 'Arcade' mode. Goto 'Key configuration' under the options menu. Press X, Y, Z and START altogether. Then press the following:

    Press Z on the car selection screen while highlighting the Alfa Romeo Lancia Delta
    Press X on the car selection screen Sega racing prototype
    Press Y on the car selection screen while highlighting the Toyota Supra Toyota Celica

    After qualifying, press the blue and red buttons to the left of the steering wheel. Cycle through 'Avec Trax', 'Sega sound', 'Trance', and 'No BGM'.
