Good Game For A PS2 Launch Title

Ridge Racer V is a decent racer for its time when it was released with the launch of the PS2 in 2000. The car models look fine (especially when changing the color schems on the body and decals), the graphics look nice f... Read Full Review

Not Bad for its first try on PS2. It was the first game ever made for the PS2.

Ridge Racer 5 is the 5th game in the series but on PS2. Mostly your racing and winning includes Grand Prix races(in standard and extra classes), Time attack, Multi-player such s Duel(Take on a rival racer's best time) an... Read Full Review

? What! No game length whatsoever

Great game, but no game length so it took me an hour to complete. Rushed out to get Namco a bit of money. What a waste of the £2 it cost me from Asda. I wouldn't thieve it from the back of a lorry. Utter piffle. Ot... Read Full Review

Ridge Racer has always been one of my favorite series. This game further cements that statement. People may say that GT is a better game. In most instances, it is. But when you don't feel like realistically driving an... Read Full Review

Hardcore fans of the series may get a kick out of it,but everyone else would be better off waiting for something better.

This installment plays very much like the early Ridge Racers with slightly stiffer handling and a lot of variations of tracks all in the city this time out. The fact that you’re constantly having to go on different route... Read Full Review

    The city is yours !

What do we have here: old school arcade racing with some awsome drifting and high speed cruising, that 's ridge racer 4. Graphics: As a launch game you cannot expect to much from it, some of it's bad atitudes are for ex... Read Full Review

    Garbage!!!

After playing the Burnout series, this is a joke. It's worse than playing Top Gear for the SNES (though the graphics are nice). Annoying announcer, cars that are a bear to control, only TWO camera angles, etc. make th... Read Full Review
