So its not Gran Turismo... But that might be what makes it one of my favorites.

Ridge Racer has always been one of my favorite series. This game further cements that statement.

People may say that GT is a better game. In most instances, it is. But when you don't feel like realistically driving and you just wanna powerslide through a corner at 175mph while grinning like an idiot, this game delivers in a big way.

Its the basic Ridge Racer formula. Real cars under fake names. A single city split up into separate tracks. A great soundtrack. A cheesy announcer and an amazing arcade style gameplay. It all meshes together in perfect powersliding bliss.

Its a great game that still can hold up against the best out there, even 6 years later after its release.

    Not Bad for its first try on PS2. It was the first game ever made for the PS2.
