Mario 2D (and Luigi) in HD!
The visuals in NSMBU almost make up for the fact that this is the same tried and true 2D Mario formula. The game tries a few new ideas that work for the most part, and at least it doesn't any gimmick like the coins in th... Read Full Review

Same old, same old but the Luigi DLC makes up for it.
What else can I say about New Super Mario Bros that hasn't been said already? The DS version was great. The Wii version was pretty damn good. The 3DS sequel was easily the weakest. This one, while not as bad as the 3... Read Full Review

A Familiar but Good entry to the Franchise
New Super Mario Bros U is a very familiar entry to the Mario bros lineup but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The Visuals On the Wii U for SMB U look beautiful in HD, all of the worlds look vibrant and everything is c... Read Full Review

Brings back the challenge from the older Mario games without the Mario!
The year of Luigi has been good to me and I bet a lot of other people out there feel the same way, but it’s also been good to the Mario series as a whole. While I wasn’t particularly interested in the New Sup... Read Full Review

Back to the Roots
Yes, I played every single Sidescrolling Mario title from the last two decades (except the handheld games), but i am still not getting tired of them. This release, the first Mario game in HD, still feels fresh and shows ... Read Full Review

Luigi nearly outshines his brother in his own 2d platformer.
So before I start this review I wanted to talk about both the DLC and the actual hard copy of the game. You can either buy the DLC if you have the original Super Mario Brothers U for twenty dollars, definitely worth it if... Read Full Review

New Super Luigi U is a superb 2D plat former, but lacks an online multiplayer and challenge modes.
"The Year of Luigi" is not quite over yet as we celebrate his latest game called New Super Luigi U that is released in North America on August 25th, 2013. Now Nintendo needs to release a Paper Luigi game for the 3DS or W... Read Full Review

Not the best Mario game but probably the most beautiful. Nice graphics and has that old style feeling from SNES.
This game was really good, just not great. It did have its great moments though. I loved the castles and the final castle. This also was Nintendo Hard at times too. My poor wife had to listen to a lot of F-Bombs being dr... Read Full Review
