It shocks me, why are RPGs now a days not this good? I'm not even saying this from nonstalgia... I HATE nonstalgia.

My kind of RPG
This game was comical and modern, yet had solid RPG gameplay. It's not based in medieval fantasy, and despite the name and cover design, the alien/sci-fi element isn't too big either, at least early on. It's more tab... Read Full Review

Earthbound- This is one of my favorite games, and is a must-play for anyone with an SNES.
When my friend first brought Earthbound to my house, I had never heard of it and to be honest it didn't look very interesting. But after playing for an hour I didn't want to stop. The story, gameplay, batlle mechanics, e... Read Full Review

This was one of the best SNES's RPG's ever made, but sadly, not many know of it.
Where to start... The first time I played this game, I was about 8-10 years old and I went to blockbuster, rented the game because it had a weird box and I liked the pictures *Go figure*(Ps. I didn't know s**t about RPG'... Read Full Review

One of my favorite games. Truly an amazing RPG that can be played to the umpteenth time and still retain its charm. The game does an amazing job with the story. The story hearkens to that of 50's Sci-Fi puts throws in... Read Full Review

An offbeat, almost silly RPG that pokes fun at the genre and offers the open-minded an enaging and humorous adventure.
"Earthbound" was the first RPG I played, and not for good reason. I was raised in a strict religious home where swords & sorcery were not permitted to coexist with the Bible (it seems silly to fret so much... Read Full Review

Fun addictive RPG in a modern setting breaks the mold set by the standard RPG in a great way I still enjoy.
I have a some news no one cares about. I used to hate RPGs. Not a single one of them really hit it off with me. Until I gout EarthBound. After 11 years of being out. I still play EarthBound. I love this game. It introduc... Read Full Review

The greatest game you have never played.
1st off I don't like rpg's at all, I find them wierd and boring with lame repetitive fight scenes. I came across a copy of earthbound recently about a month ago, and the rest was history. The game from the get go leaves ... Read Full Review

SNES has some of the greatest RPGs around. This is one of them.
You know what's funny? I've beaten this game about 4-5 times now and I still don't know how to pronounce Giygas. To the people who read this, look up in a Nintendo dictionary and find me the pronunciation, will ya? O... Read Full Review
