Order of Ecclesia is the first of hopefully many great things for the series, delivering change that is badly needed.
So, February came, and the Portrait of Ruin board was how it always was: Full of arguments and speculation. Then, along came a fateful little thread about naming an enemy boss. In that thread was a person claiming to be ... Read Full Review

The line between challenging and infuriating is incredibly thin; Order of Ecclesia walks it like a tightrope
Since Castlevania is such an established and long-running series, I should probably preface this by saying that Order of Ecclesia is the first one I have played. As such, I can't offer any comparison between this and its... Read Full Review

Rich environments and insane combat lands this Castlevania title as one of the greatest in the series.
In the long running Castlevania franchise this game would be ranked as the 28th entry to the series and the 3rd on the DS. Recently, the Castlevania games were beginning to lack variation and started feeling repetitive. ... Read Full Review

Tough, yet satisfying
I didn't want to review this game until I had completed it and played the Albus quest, so now I have the opportunity to say what a good game it is. Yes, it's tough, but no tougher than your average Castlevania DS game. ... Read Full Review

Great addition to the series!
As a fan of Castlevania since the first Castlevania on the NES I'd have to say that this one is great! The graphics are superb. It's the best looking Castlevania on the DS. Konami, it seems, made use of every availabl... Read Full Review

It was a good game just hard, but not as memorable as the first two DS games...
I guess I'll start this review off by saying, I have only been playing the Castlevania series since about the first GBA game. I have played games in the past but never beat them up until then, I never played SotN and I k... Read Full Review

If it's too hard for you. You're just not good enough!
Everybody loves a lengthy castlevania game right? Well, not everybody. But i certainly did! Almost everything in this game impressed me, from the graphics, to the sound shorts, to the immersive maps, and especially th... Read Full Review

Castlevania returns with Order of Ecclesia, and some new gameplay conventions make this installment the best in years.
Castlevania is one of the longest running video game franchises in history, with its earliest title being released in 1986. It's formula of 2D side-scrolling action was completely reinvented with Castlevania: Symphony o... Read Full Review

Castlevania Order of Ecclesia does an excellent job of blending action and RPG elements into a platforming environment.
C: O of E is a game I thoroughly enjoyed. I had fun with it, I found it immersive, and I completed it. But, rather than carry on about how much I loved the game or simply re-hash what has already been said and known a... Read Full Review
