Horror on the NES!

User Rating: 6 | Friday the 13th NES
Straight from the Friday the 13th movies comes the video game. Of course, it was the 80s and the NES was the latest thing, so you couldn't expect much in terms of gameplay.
You start off roaming around the camp throwing rocks at zombies that pop up out of the ground...that's right, ZOMBIES!! I don't remember any zombies in the movie!...oh, well. All of a sudden, you hear a beeping, which means one of your friends is in trouble and you need to go rescue them. (if you hadn't figured it out by now, Jason is after them) So you get to their cabin, find Jason inside, fight him, he leaves--if you beat him--and you go outside and do the same thing over and over again.
It's fun from the beginning, but after a while, it gets pretty boring. Oh, and you can find other weapons to use on your enemies like a basic knife, machete, axe, and torch. He can even surprise you outside! WOAH!!! (...sorry)
Even if you manage to beat him once, you have to beat him two more times,
and he's faster each time,too.
I recommend playing this at least once to get the feel of the game. It was scary in its time, but how it's seen today all depends on you.
