Easily one of the best games for the PS2

So I got this game, and at first I was pissed off. I was like "Ya right, the russians couldn't take over the United States if the World Depended on it". But thats political, so I'll shut up. Anyway, they do in this game, and its up to you and you fellow patriots to kick some soviet ass.

The story is missing something but otherwise it is great. There is one part where you think it is the end, but its not. Even on the easiest difficulty, there are challenges. There are sometimes guys with armor and heavy machine guns. Or sometimes there will be an attack helicopter with mini-guns and rockets (your probably screwed). The game is extremely entertaining. There were many levels, but it just wasn't enough. There is literally NO replay value whatsoever. None. Nada. Zip. Zero. Unless you want to replay a mission for the fun of it, well, go right ahead. Without the story, the levels wouldn't be any fun the first time around. At one point I found myself very tense on an assassination mission. I ran out and started killing guys left and right and then I realized, WAIT! Its just a video game. The Russians didn't really invade. Phew.

The multiplayer is nothing to get excited over, it is fun at first, but after a while it kinda dies down. This game deserves more recognition and would probably have it if it had online modes. All in all, get this game.
