In Canada the 11th is rememberance day (canadian version of independence day) which means we get the day off. After paying tribute to our soldiers I will be playing all day.

yeah this is BS. and to get school busses to take people to the launch would cost a ridiculous amount of money (several thousand) that no school district would front. FAIL

Turns out my school's principal is a big fan of CoD so he has canceled school on Tuesday, Nov 10. Every single person in my school is buying MW2 so we are all going together and loading up 5 school buses for the midnight release. One of the Janitors has already placed a bet that he will be the first one to get a nuke (25 kill streak). So does anyone else have a MW2 holiday?gsgdvcbsa

Funnily enough, the COD series has just been added to my nephew's curriculum. Every time I look after him, he insists on playing MW and WAW for hours. When I tell him to stop and go play with the dog in the backyard, he always trumps me with the response that he's studying for class. And it's hard to argue with that.

Huh? The principal doesn't have authority to cancel school for a day. Your entire school is not buying the game. You are not going in buses to the midnight release. You are a liar, I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I am a teacher and this would not work within most school district; especiallysince the school's calendar is usually set in stone during the previous year. I'm not calling you a liar, but I just can't see this happening in a legitimate school!

my school is only given us the day after off

which is actually better (i dont have to stop playing to go to school, the 1 out of 2 days a week... everything seems to be going nicely for the joomister)
