I'm glad to hear HBK back too, but damn, not in a DX form though. I wanted to see him in one on one competition. Oh well, better than nothing. It's not to often I get to see HBK wrestle LIVE! It's only 12 days away and I'm getting more and more excited to be there to see it LIVE! SummerFest here I come :DKevyR
That is funny, Summerfest, that is.
But anyway I'm Happy for DX being Back, as well as for HBK being back too. :)
I like how Summer...............SLAM, is looking.
That could be good...SummerSlam Update:
ECW Championship
Christian (c) vs. William RegalLink256
or, it could be a hideous contrast of s[t]yles. Rather interesting to see which way it goes.
I suppose it has no real bearing on this match for a few reasons, but Regal's matches with Edge way back for the IC Title were abysmal.

Kev u are very lucky to be going when i got tickets to unforgiven 2006 i was so excited....trust me the friday and saturday before the event u are not gonna be able to sleep(hard for me anyways becasue it was my first show). even if the card isnt good it still feels amazing being at a live PPV because the crownd was hot.
This ur first show?imbulletpr00f
Nope this is not my first show, first PPV however, not my first show. I have gone to three "Monday Night RAW" events, but not ECW/Superstars/SmackDown! shows. I gotta get tickets to see those shows, when they come back.
So, I was thinking that Cryme Tyme would win the belts from JeriShow, therefore freeing up Jericho to stop wasting his talents on the zombie that is tag team wrestling. I don't like the idea of Jericho losing to CT, but, honestly, who else is there?
And then, a terrifying thought hit me. Who else? DX. It seems highly probable that DX murder Legacy so bad that the 4th generation of Dibiases will be difficult to take seriously. Where does DX go from there? JeriShow. For all their murdering of tag teams, DX has not held the tag team titles, yet. Jericho is the greatest thing in wrestling. Seems its time to remind him of what his place is. Injury prevented them from finishing their burial of Rated RKO, so that leaves them with unfinished business with the Tag Team Titles. DX has history with Show and I believe Triple H relishes burying Jericho even more than he does not putting Orton over.
Honestly, I'd prefer Cryme Tyme.
Never forget WWE Commandment #7: "Thou shalt never upstage the Game-uh"
Let me be wrong, please.

There are a couple of potential redeeming factors if JeriShow-DX comes about:
1. Jericho's promos. Unfortunately, WWE probably won't. Afterall, he might utter a few too many truths about the mid-life crisis.
2. The potential for it to blow-up in the face of DX if the match occurs at Breaking Point, in Canada.
Where is Jericho being hailed from these days? I remember when they would announce him from somewhere in south New York.sephy37
From memory, I think it's Canada again.
* Summerslam 2000: WWF World Championship- Rock (c) vs HHH vs Kurt Angle Link256One of the few times I will ever praise story over match, 'cause the Kurt-Steph-Trips Love Triangle was good stuff. This match itself is all right, clearly the fact Angle is knocked loopy throws whatever Plan A was out the window. Plan B is still a pretty good match.
* Summerslam 2001: WWF World Hardcore Championship- Ladder Match- Jeff Hardy (c) vs Rob Van DamLink256Good stuff, but their Invasion match is far and away their best match
* Summerslam 2003: WWE World Championship- Kurt Angle (c) vs Brock Lesnar Link256Good, unsung match. Overshadowed by the Mania match. Unnecessary McMahonism, though.
* Summerslam 2005: Ladder Match- Rey Mysterio vs Eddie GuerreroLink256Would be so much better if you can turn the commentary off and eliminate the Dominic Cam.
* Summerslam 2005: The Undertaker vs Randy Orton Link256This is the one Orton wins... thanks to Papa Bear Orton. Never saw it.
* Summerslam 2006: WWE World Championship- Edge (c) vs John CenaLink256This is a really good, unsung Cena match. His work ethic was really picking up and Edge brings out the best in him. I guess its diluted by all the other Cena-Edge matches.
And Cena actually loses relatively cleanly. Even he can't dodge the "hometown booking" it seems.
* Summerslam 1988: Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage vs Andre The Giant & Ted DiBiaseLink256This is a really fun main event. Dibiase is easy MVP, making up for Andre's immobility and bumping around as only he does.
* Summerslam 1992: WWF World Championship- Randy Savage (c) vs Ultimate Warrior Link256One of those rare good Warrior matches. It doesn't sniff their Wrestlemania 7 epic, but few matches do.
* Summerslam 1993: WWF Intercontinental Championship- Shawn Michaels (c) vs Curt HennigLink256Really disappointing, considering what these two are capable of. Just wasn't meant to be. kinda wished they went with Michaels-Jannetty.
* Summerslam 1994: WWF World Championship- Steel Cage - Bret Hart (c) vs Owen HartLink256Everything you could want out of a bloodless cage match and it doesn't even need blood to dramatize the hate. Probably the most amazing thing is that this match is so vastly different than their Mania match. Mania was a wrestling clinic, this is a brawl and they do them equally well.
No problem.
Otherwise, just so ya know, if Batista was going to return at SummerSlam (which, he is not), unless they were going to have it be a "surprise," they would have defiantly been hyping that up by now.
Link256
Thank God, I really hope hes out for longer though I'd mark out if shwan turns on HHH and brings out Batista, Flair and orton to destroy him
Anyways Jerishow vs, DX fued with be awesome as long as wwe can promise us Triple H wont bury everyone incuding upstaging micheals
Heh, just remembered one of the pet peeves I have with the WWE.
Just saw an advert for SummerFest on another GameSpot page, which advertised the PPV on Sunday 23rd August at 1AM. In the UK, the PPV's always start on Monday at 1AM. They've been misleading like this ever since I started watching almost ten years ago - and I can't believe they still haven't rectified the error. Think of all the first-timers that tune in to see something other than the PPV they want to watch...
[QUOTE="lilhbk"]Great Khali vs Kane, really??KevyR
That'll be a bathroom break for me when I see this match come up on the show.
