If this is supposed to be a contest of how long you've been hoping for RVD to win the Rumble, I've got you beat, trust me. :PI'm been hoping RVD will win since June.

He came quite close in 2004 if I am not mistaken. hbk91I'd rank 2003 as RVD's best Rumble appearance. He entered at #12 to go 1 on 1 with Jericho and was pretty much attacked by the next five entrants. He really put on a great show. He eliminated Jeff Hardy and alongside Kane, helped eliminate the A-Train. He would only be eliminated by a doublecross from Kane. He finished in the Final 5.
2002 and 2004, RVD entered #29 and was eliminated in the Final 5 in both (I believe). 2002, he had a nice flurry until Trips hit him with a Pedigree which Van Dam sold the hell out of, as he hardly moved for about a minute till he was tossed by Booker T (I was live for this one, I was obviously not happy with this). 2004, his entrance was overshadowed by Goldberg, who was #30. He fell victim to making Show look like a monster, as Show dumped him when he attempted his Monkey Flip out of the corner. He really didn't get any kind of showcase, outside hitting his 5* on the Big Show while everyone ganged up on him.
Yeah I remember that. Show had all the guys around him and you could just about hear the communication between them all on how it would all pan out.hbk91
Yea.... they really had me "sold"on that one.
[QUOTE="hbk91"]What's worse RR POLL 1...
Lesnar/Holly for the WWE Title at the RR or Angle/Henry for the World Title?

Holly had a title shot? WTF?
Yup, at the Royal Rumble in 2004. Don't you remember the feud? "Lesnar...I am going to...break...your...neck!". :|[QUOTE="mja2k3"][QUOTE="hbk91"]What's worse RR POLL 1...

I can't really judge that until after Angle/Henry have their match, as that was the worst part of Holly-Lesnar. However, stll the early edge goes to Lesnar/Holly, because with that match I could not have cared less about either man. At least I like Angle.What's worse RR POLL 1...

That's pretty stupid, what if backlash is better than WMKotenks
I think the one brand PPVs should be cheaper like 25-30$ and the double should stay the same $35, since you are paying for both brands.Kotenks

the WWE doesnt really alow that to happen..... last 2 backlashes??? U Know they can give a better match than Triple H vs Batista 2.... but they just didnt want to...... of course.... backlash always got "the hook", a diferent match from the one u saw at wm with a more personal and brutal change to kill each other..... digase: Orton/Foley No Holds Barred and Benoit/Edge Last Man Standing....... i think thats the "backlash hook" and theyre going to keep doing it
I wonder who'll get the #1 and #30 spot then.
Here are my guesses...
-- #1 - HBK (Vince is still out to "screw" Michaels, Rocky comes in *surprise* <:shock:> and eliminates Michaels setting up Michaels/Rocky at WM22)
-- #30 - Randy Orton (wins a Battle Royal on SD! to earn the #30 spot at the Rumble, continues his winning streak)
