E3 2012 Discussion Thread

Hey guys.Well i think Ubi surelly won.Their new project Watch Dogs,i think that's how it called really impressed me in good way.

EA showed up their standard line-up.Sony showed up  TLOU and boy it looked great.however new GOD of WAR doesn't impressed me, and i even didn't played any of them ,just seen couple videos.

Btw Microsoft **** YOU with your "innovation" to entertainment..

But hey that's me. 

that dead space gameplay was sick!

I think Microsoft was the worse, followed by EA.

I can't decide which one was my favorite between Nintendo, Sony and Ubisoft. Right now I'm leaning more towards Ubisoft though. Nintendo had the best presentation but nothing really exciting there.

As for Best in Show... Resident Evil 6, Dead Space 3, Crysis 3, Splinter Cell: Black List, Zombi U, The Last of Us, Beyond, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed 3 and even Tomb Raider all looked solid, but that's about as far as I can get in deciding.:P

I think my biggest complaint from this years has to be the same as last year: Where were all the new ideas? Nearly everything was a sequel, but I was still pleased to see Watch Dogs, Zombi U and Beyond show something new.

I only watched the first few minutes of Microsoft. Turned it off after Halo 4 :P thats all I needed.

I also only watched a few minutes of ubisoft just to see ACIII.

Those are the only two games I care for :D

They still had some great stuff though...

AC3 Multiplayer

It's not the rumoured co-op. If there is co-op, it wasn't shown at E3.

Also, MG: RR Gameplay.

IMO Sony is the winner for me, Nintendo was'nt bad and Microsoft was just plain boring.naju890_963

I personally thought Ubisoft had the best conference. Sony was the worst imo with that wonderful "book thing" being their "big ticket" item. Microsoft didn't fair much better and Nintendo was disappointing despite them having a new console coming out this year. I think Nintendo's biggest mistake was a lack of games. The only ones worth even mentioning were Pikmin 3, New Super Mario Bros WiiU, and ZombiU. Which look great, but the rest of the show was complete s***. 

Ubisoft at showed off some cool games and Watch Dogs coming out of nowhere was pretty awesome. EA's conference was even pretty good with a surprisingly great shoiwng from the new Medal of Honor game and Dead Space 3 which looked pretty great (sans the co-op, which looked s****y).

Now to my favorite games:

1) Medal of Honor Warfighter

Honorable Mentions:

1) Beyond Two Souls

2) Far Cry 3

3) Black OPS II 

4) Borderlands II

Worst Games:

1) Resident Evil 6 (Dissappointing doesn't even begin to describe this)

2) Dance Central 4

3) Metal Gear Rising

4) Dead Space 3 (More dissappointed in the co-op and pure action aspect than anything else) (Also should be called Lost Planet 3.5, not Dead Space 3)

5)  Fable: Journey (It looked horrible last year and it looked just as bad this year)

So those are just some of my initial thoughts. I'll be breaking down each conference through a series of blogs in the near future. :) 

They said Dead Space 3 can also be played without a partner judging by gamespot.

The other guy speaks with you over a radio, but he isn't in the same area as you.

Star Wars 1313, Watch Dogs, and Tomb Raider catches my attention.

I might get SW 1313, but I'm not sure yet. It didn't show much gameplay...

I think Dead Space will be a incredible game, but will it be a good horror game? I think it's too early to tell. I remember I thought Dead Space 2 looked a bit too much like a shooter, but I still found some jumps and scares throughout the game.

So, it looks perfectly fine to me, lol. Plus, it works better gameplay wise, I'd hate to be restricted just because, I want to swing a little higher than the sky scrapers. :P
